Visdomsord ang Corona från Robina Courtin

"I was at the London Buddhist Society last night, first time. It’s in a lovely big house not far from Victoria station. They’ve had the place since 1924. Tomorrow night I’m supposed to fly from Gatwick to Cluj-Napoca in Romania. I’ve got my boarding pass. But who knows? Things are changing minute by minute. Then I’m supposed to go to Krakow in Poland on March 18. Then to Stockholm and Zurich. I’m acting as if. No point in worrying — that just makes things worse. Buddha’s been telling us for ages that everything is impermanent and it’s only because our junkie attachment can only handle the nice things that we can’t stand it when it doesn’t get what it wants. Also, as Lama Zopa Rinpoche says, “Everything is our own karmic appearance,” so we need to remember that too. We’ve created the cause for this from who knows how many lifetimes ago, so the thing is to learn from it. And what’s the learning? Well, given that whatever we label suffering is from negative actions in the past, and given that this coronavirus drama is probably what we’d label suffering, and given that we don’t want suffering in the future, the logical conclusion is to renew our determination to live a life of ethics and not harm sentient beings — and even try to benefit them! So, we keep going, one day at a time." Ven. Robina Courtin https://www.facebook.com/252477768140311/posts/2811813405540055/
