Listening to the voice of Wisdom (video)

"Khenpo Sherab Sangpo, a professor of Tibetan Buddhism in the Nyingma Lineage (bodhicittasangha.org), teaches his students about using mindful awareness to recognize when they are listening to the inner voice of wisdom versus listening to the ego’s selfish concerns. He says that the main point of practice for his students is to listen to the Dharma teachings, to contemplate (reflect upon and study) them, and to meditate upon them until they are fully integrated into the student’s life. These are the three wisdom tools (Skt. śruta cintā bhāvanā; Tib. tö sam gom sum; Wyl. thos bsam sgom gsum) and the path of taking the outer Guru’s teachings to connect and merge with the inner Guru, the voice of wisdom. He counsels his students not to become jaded with the Dharma, but to allow the teachings to penetrate their minds by remaining fresh and open to each moment of awareness that occurs while they are on the path. The teaching ends with a guided meditation." (Från youtube.com)
